Q: Do you work with the general public?A: No.  Our services are reserved for the commercial trade.  We do not work with the general public.

Q: What do you pay out on metals?

A:  98 – 99 percent on gold.  90 -95% on silver.  90% on platinum. See Schedule for more info.

Q: Do you Offer Volume Discounts?

A:  Yes. See Schedule for breakdown.

Q: What method do you recommend for shipping?

A: USPS, FedEx or UPS.  We work with all three carriers.

Q: Should I insure my shipment?

A: We recommend you insure your shipment for the estimated value of the package.

Q: Is there a minimum?

A: We do not have a required minimum quantity.  We accept shipments of all sizes.

Q: How much material can you handle?

A: We are one of the largest refineries in the country.  No order is too large.

Q: Do you pay a premium on coins or just melt value?

A: It depends on the condition of the coin. Each coin has a different premium that can be paid based on the availability and demand of the coin.  Premiums can go up or down and are determined when the lot arrives and the condition can be assessed.

Q: Do you buy diamonds/colored stones?

A: We purchase diamonds, but we do not buy any other stones.

Q: What type of material do you accept?

A: Gold, silver, palladium and platinum jewelry.  Bench sweeps.  We cannot melt platinum sweeps or powders.  We do not accept ore samples of any sort.

Q: Do you accept computer parts?A: No.

Q: Do you accept car parts containing precious metals?

A: No.

Q: How much do you charge for a bank wire? Overnight check?

A: Bank wires cost $25 each.  Overnight checks are $30, with additional charges for Saturday delivery.

Q: How does the lock-in process work?

A: Packages can be locked two business days before arrival. If a package is locked and does not arrive within the allotted time, the lock will not be honored.  If you do not lock your materials, you are able to put the metal into pool (if specified), or it will be locked on the day it is completed.

Q: Can you lock in silver and platinum as well?

A: Silver and platinum follow the same lock-in guidelines above.
